Description: Willett Family Estate 12 Year Single Barrel Rye “Mustache Maniacs” is a rare and exceptional single-barrel release from the storied family-run distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. Aged for twelve years in charred new American oak and bottled at barrel strength (112 proof / 56% ABV), this whiskey features a high-rye mash bill that drives bold spice and deep character. Expect an aromatic opening of warm baking spice, dark caramel, tobacco leaf, and dried orange peel, followed by a palate rich with cracked black pepper, brown sugar, dark cherry, and cocoa undertones. The finish lingers long with toasted oak, clove, and caramel-sweet warmth—making this release a standout for collectors, connoisseurs, and anyone seeking a truly refined rye whiskey experience.
