We think we know the David story. Shepherd boy. Killed Goliath. Sex with Bathsheba. Psalm 51. But there is much more to the life of this man whom God chose, loved and used for His purposes and to His glory. It is in fact a God story. It is a story about what God did in and through His servant and the truths of this story are relevant to every leader today. This is a book about God’s great love and power, about His Spirit leading and abiding in His leader and the lessons every leader can learn from this wonderful, inspired, tough, emotional, strong, weak, flawed instrument in the hand of God. It encourages us to know, “If God can use David, He can use me.” The devotional covers eighty-seven days walking through the life of David, with matching Psalms to encourage you to see God in every moment of your life as a leader.
