This subjective atlas bring together over 80 personal mappings from people living in a country long defined by outsiders. Reduced to ethnic categories, entities, and war-era narratives, these people inhabit a landscape where trauma lingers and political inertia persists. With a polyphonic cartography, the volume counters these simplifications, presenting visual voices that show how people inhabit, remember, and imagine this place today. Created through participatory workshops across Bosnia and Herzegovina, the contributions comprise drawing, collage, photography, and storytelling. Rather than offering a fixed or objective account, the mappings aim to make the country tangible. Read more
